So I'm planning to get a Chromebook for school work. I'm not super familar with this type of laptop. I know that I won't be able to game on it which is fine, but will i be able to use Microsoft word on it? Or will I only be able to use google docs?

Also does it allow to save documents on it? thats why I was asking about Microsoft Word. I want to be able to use a word document without wifi.
Also with transfering videos or downloading movies/music...are these possible to do in chrome book?

Thankyou in advance

well the chromebook is only good for one thing and that is web browsing. you can use microsoft word kind of but it will be google docs. you can view word documents on it and save it in a word format but no you cant put the full microsoft word on it. its also not a good idea to put a bunch of files on it unless you have an external hard drive because all the chromebooks come with pretty crappy storage and it will be taken up really fast. if you are going to be browsing the web the chromebook will do just fine however if you are going to do some other things get a cheap windows laptop for a bit more. trust me it will be worth it.
