A 2.0 speaker set has no sub-woofer for rich bass effect, so the sound output will sound "tinny" and cheap.
Get a 2.1 set and you'll get quality sound with rich bass tones.
I recommend a Sony 2.1 speaker set 'cos I've had one for ten years or more and it sounds great, never had any trouble with it.
