I currently have a Nvidia GTX 770 2gb version. I was wanting to purchase the same card again and run them SLI, or maybe get the GTX 770 4gb version. Which option would give me better performance. The 4gb version only cost a few more then the 2gb version. I know the SLI that would mean more power consumption and heat, but since I do not have to pay the electrical bill, that would not be much of a factor to me.

More about : sli upgrade

If you sli a 4gb with a 2gb the 4gb version will be limited to 2gb because of the other one. If you buy another one just get the 2gb version.

Yeah its pointless getting a 4gb version to SLI (as it will lower it to match the 2gb version), or even as an upgrade, you would see no difference. 770 SLI does perform well though.

I would suggest waiting for the 800 series to upgrade, should be around November.

I didnt mean that I would SLI the 2gb with the 4gb, the question was having just one 770 4gb version, or sli 770 2gb version.

The sli 770 2gb will do much better than the one 4gb.
