I need to pick a MB that will support the Intel 4790K.

I don't care about OC but I do care about quality, performance, stability and durability.

It will be used as a Linux dev station and will run: virtual servers, databases, IDE, compilations, dockers and etc

Any recommendation?

Here are two that will meet your requirements:

I know that overclocking is not a consideration, but boards that can overclock are built with the expectation that they're going to be, so tend to get better components than non-OC boards. That translates into better quality, durability, performance and stability.

You could also consider the Asus Z97 WS - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z97ws.

Edit: There are some good H97 boards that would also work and are cheaper, but in general the Z97 boards tend to be higher quality.

The K is 4Ghz while the other is 3.6Ghz and the cost diff is not something I care of
