Hello folks,

I build my PC a few days ago and everything was running fine until a now.
For some reason iam getting a CPU Fan Error on startup now. Its been running fine for several days and all of the sudden this pops up.

Now the cooling i use is a Noctua NH-D15 which has two fans. The main fan is connected to the CPU_FAN connector on the motherboard, the secondary fan is connected to the OPT_CPUFAN connector on the motherboard.

The strange thing is whenever i get this error and look at my cooler i see that both fans are actually spinning. Also whenever i press CTRL + ALT + DEL to initiate a reboot the system simply boots without any errors. The same thing happens when i press F1 to enter the BIOS when i get the CPU error. I enter the BIOS and immediately exit it without saving or changing anything and the system simply boots without a problem.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Set the CPU fan speed in the bios lower and report back.

I cant select any specific fan speeds but i set the CPU fan speed profile to standard and so far it seems to have done the trick.
