The G.Skill Ares I think I am getting says "Intel XMP Extreme Memory Profile Ready" but it should still support AMD, right? Do I just need to flash the bios or something?

If not, does anyone recommend any other memory? (for a similar price, of course)

Check these out, these are also great: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crucial-BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU...
Since these that you wanted are discontinued, like legend001523 and Joeteoh99 said, these will do just fine.

It would be fine if you want to get it. But like what Legend001523 said it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. So if recommend another one. And that one you posted is not needed. You don't need 2133MHz a 1600 or 1800 MHz is hardly noticeable and performs almost the same.
It also has a bad cas latency, but it is cheaper compared to the g.skill ripjaws x by about £10.

Okay then
The Ripjaws perform the same as other RAM; the only thing is that they are cheaper and work exactly the same.
