System Build review needed!

Solution
Might want to go AMD if you want to overclock for less. Just need to up the PSU to make sure you have enough wattage.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($166.95 @ Vuugo)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($23.98 @ Newegg Canada)
Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($139.95 @ Vuugo)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($88.49 @ DirectCanada)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X Video Card ($304.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($56.99 @ NCIX)...
You need the 4690k so you can overclock. If you don't' overclock then you don't need a CM Evo or Z97 mobo (if you get 4690k).

One big thing, you might want to get a 600-650W PSU in case you upgrade GPU. 550W will run the below system easily and this will max out most high end games at 1080p.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($253.79 @ DirectCanada)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($32.21 @ DirectCanada)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($152.44 @ DirectCanada)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($88.49 @ DirectCanada)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Dual-X Video Card ($294.99 @ NCIX)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($56.99 @ NCIX)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($56.99 @ NCIX)
Total: $935.90

I am going to buy my build tomorrow, so check it out :

FX 8350, Asus M5A97 LE R2.0, 8. G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (combo on NewEgg) : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1594318

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO : http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=8_129&item_id=044952

R9 280 OC : http://www.ncix.com/detail/gigabyte-radeon-r9-280-oc-0b-98788-1297.htm

HAF 912 :http://www.ncix.com/detail/cooler-master-haf-912-black-e6-55583-1297.htm

EVGA 600W 80+ Bronze Power Supply : http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_1238_442&item_id=063158

Grand Total Of : 776$ CA (including tax).

Don't get the 8350 if you want to overclock, also the LE model of the Asus mobo isn't good for overclocking. Can you change it to fx-8320 + M5A97 R2.0 (not LE)?

Also, AMD CPUs are power hungry and consume up to 100W more than a Intel CPU. (ex. compare power consumption of a 4690k vs fx-8350) So, I'd get the 650W PSU instead to be safe.

That GPU is a good buy and great price.

Between the two builds I made, the components I picked saved me 200$ so I think I can upgrade to a better case and better PSU

Do you think I should get the 300R not the 200R

Yes. The 200R looks better but the 300R has wayy better cooling due to the fact that the front is open allowing unimpeded airflow. Check reviews and you'll see.
