Is Nvidia 650 better than R7 260X?

I have an Intel i5 4670 and apparently the cost of 650ti and 260X is almost the same. which one should i go for? Is nvidia better suited for my cpu and will any of the gpu(s) bottleneck my cpu?

All games are compatible with both AMD and Nvidia.
However, certain graphical effects can only be enabled on Nvidia cards. Mostly PhysX, also rarely HBAO+ and Hairworks. TXAA as well, but TXAA is garbage so that one's irrelevant. Really it's mostly PhysX that you'd have to worry about in mainstream games.

The i5-4670 is a very strong CPU, so ofc any graphics card is going to hit its limit before that CPU.
However, the R7 260X is a good choice, and a better value than the GTX 650 Ti for most purposes. However, PhysX is useful and will make the GTX 650 Ti the better choice for anyone whose favorite games include PhysX titles.

As it'll likely be a straight port from the Xbox version, I doubt GTA V will use PhysX. Hence I'd recommend the...

there is nothing like that its not a gaming console that xbox game will not support in ps3 or vice verse you can play every game on both the cards but u will get better fps in 260x than the 650.............r7 260x is much more stronger than the gtx 650 u can compare it with r7 250........if u want to get nvidia & want to keep up with 260x then go for gtx 750 or gtx 750ti...
