Half the stuff they put in the stuff like alienware pcs are overpriced anyways. They probably put at least 100$ on the case alone. You could just do with a 30$ case and mitigate budget else where or pocket the money. The PSUs they use are probably half ass at best.

Regardless of what game you'll play and what system you have, You'll always get some form of a fps lag whether it's noticeable or not noticeable. At least that's what I've seen. There are games where you could go with 60fps solid and just never get a single dip, or you could get a game where you could play 60fps nicely, but 30fps still plays better (for some reason this has happened to me before, except with lower numbers).

As for the system TopLuca suggested, it'll play games fairly decently, and the ones you've listed on decent quality. Most of those games are single threaded heavy anyways, which would perform better on that pentium. Between the pentium g3258 and i3, the pentium has the option to overclock compared to the i3. You could at least give a nice boost to the pentium's overall clock speed whereas the i3 is limited.
