hey guys i have a sony bravia cx32.sony says the max resolution is 1366x768 yet when i plugged my ps3 into it wud say 1080p isnt 1080p 1920x1080 resolution.how does this affect my gaming will i get more FPS and better rendering on textures as compared to 1920x1080 resolution.
can a 1366x768 lcd play games @ 1080p

1366x768 can play 1366x768, and any resolution lower, it cannot play a larger res such as 1920x1080 which is the most common 1080p res. the performance could be slightly higher with a lower res, but I cannot say for sure.

you can display 1080i on a 768 screen, but i've only seen that on TV and not PC outputs.
