* I can't get audio to play through the Media Player?

I had an Mt2s File> converted it to Mp4 Video and mp3 192kps audio> it still does not play audio> I downloaded Media Player codec Pack Full> which comes with the Older Classic media player> Junky> I don't want to use that player every time for videos> I want to use just the 1 player I have on windows 8.1> Why is it not passing audio?> I can play WAV files no issues> just video's do not have audio ?

Windows 8.1 codecs I downloaded etc> have an option menu that I have to turn on?> some option have been disabled, but not sure if enabling them will activate audio through the media player?> it also resets the optical outputs everytime I log back into windows, so audio is downnmixed and not output through optical / realtek drivers of the motherboard.

*Anyone?

* I just want 1 player installed to play all videos on the system> VLC is good, but I'd be adding another player on top of my existing player.
