Hello, I currently have a cheap motherboard and a NVIDIA GeForce GT430, so I'm planning to upgrade my motherboard with a ASRock Z97 Extreme4 and for the graphics with a Gigabyte GTX650, first of all, Are these two compatible? and am I getting the most for my money?
Thanks a lot, I'm just new to hardware.

Stick with your cheap motherboard and put all the money into a new GPU the GTX 650 will be a disappointment to you. Its better than the 430 for sure, but not by much. Get a 760 with the money you save by not upgrading your motherboard which wont give you a lick of performance more, unless you OC. Then youll need an aftermarket cooler. Stick with your mobo and put it all in the GPU. Youre welcome.

I currently have an intel i5 3570k, with 8GB(4GBx2) ddr3 Dominator RAM, my cheap motherboard is a BIOSTAR H61MHV, I don't think that this motherboard can handle the DDR5 graphic card, but I'm not sure for a fact.

Itll handle it just fine. Unless you plan to OC, just save your money and buy a better video card than the 650GTX.
