Hi guys, I have built a computer about 2 weeks ago and it's been working great. The only problem I have is my worry if it were to suddenly stop working. It took 4 months to get the computer working, for two main problems: the RAM wasn't on the QVL list, and every I started the build (external build at the time) it turned off after 3 seconds. Since then, I have got new RAM and a whole new Z97 mobo, as compared to the Z87. One day, the problem with it starting just vanished, and it started up, but failed to post until I got the new RAM. I know electronics can fail, but are any of these parts likely to fail in the next four years? Thanks- I really appreciate the help!

Ok- thanks! The reviews for the SSD are pretty good, so I feel ok. But if I were to get another SSD someday (or if this one crashed) how would I transfer Windows? The only way is to use the recovery disk I'm guessing? And would that even install it on another drive? Also- am I ok with stock cooling? Not doing any OC or gaming, just a bit of video editing at stock speeds. Thank you so much for the help- I appreciate it.

if you aren't going to overclock then don't waste your money of a K series CPU and a Z board. Save it and put it towards a better SSD or other components.

For transfer, best way it always do a clean install. But there are cloning softwares out there to transfer the data.

So other than those programs, buying a new copy of windows is the only way?
