Nvidia GeForce GT 740M laptop micro stutters for most games. How do I fix this?

It might have to do with the cooling of the Laptop.
They always put too much thermal compound on them, so taking it apart and putting some of your own compound might fix.

Yeah I finally figured out the problem. My GPU was at 80 degrees c.
