hello i have GTX760 OC DCII ASUS and im planing SLI in the future

i will upgrade from Seasonic M12II EVO 620W to 720W same brand

can someone from their expiriance tell me what temps should i expect i have and M5A99FX PRO R2.0

i have a very good ventilated case HAF 912+ from CM now with single card i cant go over 68c on full load while playing for hour or two (airconditioner not working) will not put the side fan couse its pulling in to much dust i had it and once my card was at 80c while it was blowing on it probably the hot air stayed on botom of the card

My specs:
AMD FX-8350 4.4GHz OC with Hyper evo 212 (Push-pull)
Asus GTX 760 DCIIOC 2Gb
M5A99FX PRO R2.0
Kingston HyperX Fury 1866MHz 2x4Gb (maybe gonna add 2 more 4x2Gb)
SSD 120 Patriot pyro - HDD 1Tb Seagate Baracuda
Seasonic M12II EVO 620W

Thank you

Hi there. I have the exact same card and I just bought another one and mounted my SLI setup today. I'll tell you, my first card never went over 62°C when on full load. With SLI however, the bottom card goes up to 66°C on full load and the upper card stays around 74-76°C.

I am searching for a way to cool down the temps a little bit but many people say it's normal for cards in SLI like these to get hot.
I do not have any lag or microstutter in gaming and the power output is double, so it was worth every dollar. :)

I'll just have to handle the heat a bit, but that shouldn't be a problem. 70°C temps aren't critical. If it went over 90 however, that would be a reason to
change something in your computer. Or maybe return the card since it...

Anyway, good luck with your SLI and have a nice day.

very cool thanks for your reply please tell me if you see any problems with SLI Profiles or any problem i want to know from users that use the same card as i want to pair up

I have very good case with excellent airflow inside
from the time i put the 120mm JetFlo CM Fan behind 200mm MegaFlow also from CM i got 2-3C difference on GPU now on full load i have 65-66C that was during the summer we will see but im guessing that im going to have even better temps as the winter rolls in
That fan JetFlo btw is a beast in moving air in case

Please keep me updated about the problems or anything that heapends about SLI profiles or anything in gaming or performance whatsoever

Thanks in advance and you also have a nice day

You can add me on Skype / Steam if you wanna talk about it more.
Anyway, one thing I noticed in games, but that doesn't have to do with the cards, it's a SLI "problem"
In some games (like counter strike) I was getting occasional framerate drops with SLI enabled so I fixed it by changing settings in Nvidia control pannel to Single GPU rendering and all was fine.
On the other hand games that DO support SLI get massive FPS boost. Tomb Raider, Metro Last Light, BF3,... It's a huge difference :).

Also when I was installing the SLI, I added the card and the bridge at the same time and then ended up with
BSOD errors. I however fixed this by first uninstalling all drivers, then unplugging the 2nd card, then installing drivers on a single card again, then plugging the second card WITHOUT the Sli bridge so the PC can recognise the two cards.
Once all was done, Nvidia said something like "SLI bridge missing", so I turned off my system again, connected the bridge and once it booted I just enabled the SLI in settings and all was done. Now it's working perfectly.

Side note: My case is ventilated as well, I'm not sure why I'm getting such a big temperatures difference on the upper card. I have 2 front (intake), 2 side (intake), 2 top (exhaust) and 1 rear fan (exhaust). I'm not sure if the fan setup is wrong or not.
