hi,lately my pc has been experiencing something weird,i can hear the HDD starts and shutdowns many times while the pc is on,and some times the pc gets stuck on windows loading screen and i cant here the hard rotating i shutdown the pc and wait for a sec and then start again i can hear it and every thing works fine,i tested the HDDs at a technician he said it's fine i thought it's an HDD problem but i also thought how could it be the 2 HDDs at once !,so what am thinking of now is the power supply,could it be the power supply ? and how do i know if it failed ?,thank you

Could be yes, could also be other things, might try resetting the CMOS and trying, may not be getting correct voltage to components can try raising DRAM and CPU voltage a hair (maybe + 0.05 to try, might also see if you can borrow or try a different PSU

ill try to borrow another one,the problem is that this psu is new it didn't pass a year on it it's cooler master EXtreme 2 525 and its spare which i changed it with was a Chinese psu woth 5$ jumbo brand so if i try it i wont bear frying my pc :S so i'll have to look some where or maybe i can buy another one corsair or something but am afraid if it wont fix the problem and i pay 150$ or something on a thing i wont need
