Hello, I am looking at a Gigabyte 970a-ud3p, but is there any other alternatives at a better price? Is it good enough for overclocking, as I will be using an 8350?

No, there are no better alternatives unless you're willing to pay more. It's decent for overclocking, you should have no problems OCing your 8350.
