Building a new pc (cool and power efficient yet fast enough for light gaming) and looking for a graphics card that would best suit my CPU.
Specs:
CPU: i3-3250 (2c4t @ 3.50ghz)
RAM: 16GB 1600Mhz (CL9)
Mobo: Asus P8Q77-M
Sound: Sound Blaster Z
PSU: Corsair CX series 500w Modular
I currently own a HD4870 (which does work well for what i use it for) which has lasted well and is really cool but pretty fast.
I will be watercooling, so unless anyone has a waterblock for the 4870 (i would love to buy it from you!) I will be needing a different graphics card.
I know the whole thing does not really "need" watercooling, im doing it for the sake of having a really cool system that will last a long long time.
Looking to budget the GPU under £150 (about $230 or €180).
Or is it worth keeping the 4870?
