Pretty similar but improved some of the parts. Don't go for a Kingston SSD from their most basic range, they are terrible.

Good build, but I made some revisions:

You get a Z97 EXTREME4 MoBo for less price lol. Why get a Z87?

You can get a much, much better R9 290 for the price as of 670, so why not get it?

Also, you can get a tier 1 PSU with a few bucks more from the CX Tier 3 you chose, so why not get one?

Also, the end price is in your budget. Its a much more powerful and stable build. Hope it help :)

for the MB. i can get a z87 here for $134. z97 here is $170. would be a z97 fatal1ty and pro 4 better than z87 extreme 4?

for the gpu. i've search alot for this. here is the gpu's for my budget.
price is based on my country. i also rank them from highest to lowest.

r9 280x $219
gtx 680 $219
hd 7970 $219
gtx 670 $195
gtx 580 $182
gtx 760 $207
hd 7950 $170
gtx 660ti $170
r9 270x $158
hd 7870 $134
gtx 560ti $110
r7 260x $110

for you what the best card?

No the z97 fatality and pro 4 aren't better than z87 etreme4 as the former ones do not have SLI support.
So yes you should get the Z87 Extreme 4 then.

For the GPU, R9 280X is worth the extra 20$. The performance boost with those $20 is amazing! The 280X was designed to compete with the GTX 770 which is a refreshed GTX 680. I would go with the R9 280X.

Hope it helps :)

id go with a z87 extreme 4.
if i can only get a 770 for a discounted price:(

In this chart , the 670 is on par with the 7970 aka R9 280x, therefore the GTX 680 is faster than a 670 therefore faster than the 7970 aka R9 280x.
So that means the 7970 would be a downgrade by the figures in the charts.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/battlefield-4-graphics-card-performance,3634-8.html

im confused. help me.

Let me clear the air.

The R9 280X competes with GTX 770, which is refreshed 680. Now look again, and suppose the 770 was replaced with 280x(since 280x competes with 770 as is therefore at par with it). Is it not better than the GTX 670 and HD 7970?

To be technical, the R9 280x is a newer card with less power consumption. Also, the 280X competes with 770 and fares well performance wise than both 7970 and 770:

http://www.anandtech.com/show/7406/the-sapphire-r9-280x-toxic-review/3

In the above link, you'd see the 280X and 770 fighting against each other and the 7970 below both of them.

So 280X seems to be the only choice to me :)

You can OC your i7 with the CM to about 4.2-4.3 GHz.With a Noctua NH-D14,you get it to about 4.5 GHz.With a H100i,up to 4.7 GHz maybe.
Overclocking isn't really necessary if you're not playing a CPU intensive game, like BF4.If you OC your i7 and play a non-CPU intensive game, like Minecraft or something, you will see a 5 FPS increase, which isn't really much.
When playing BF4 however, you can see up to 20 FPS increase, which is pretty good.
Keep that in mind. :)

So like this? With an R9 280X?
