I have cut and pasted videos from one hard drive onto my lap top then cut and pasted onto another hard drive. The list of videos comes up and a selected video will play but then goes of after a couple of minutes. This is the same with all the ones i have transferred. Any ideas what i am doing wrong.

It it possible that the HDD lost connection while transferring the videos? I've experienced a similar thing when a video transfer has been interrupted. If you are transferring a lot of movies, do it in small chunks, it seems to work better, at least on my laptop.
