I logged out of windows 8.1 and then got a black screen, I waited for about 5 minutes but it stayed black. I restarted the computer, I saw the bios pictures as normal, it then went into the windows 8 logo and that thing below it was spinning, it was spinning for a bit longer than usual and then the screen went black and did not let me log in. I've tried pressing F8 to get into safe mode but that did not work. How could I get into safe mode? How could I fix this problem?
Also my keyboard works in the bios but when windows starts to load it stops working and stays like this in the black screen.
When I enable 'Windows 8 Feature' and restart, it brings me to 'Shell', perhaps I can do something there?
I've been using this PC for months and had no problems. I've signed out many times without problems. BTW I have the admin account active it that matters.
The same day this happened I installed some windows update and another program which got a problem when it couldn't save my preferences somewhere in temp files.
System specs:
CPU: 4670k
GPU: HD 4600
Motherboard: z87-g45, BIOS 1.6
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB ST2000DM001
PSU: 650B-BEFX
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3-1866
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro, 64-bit
