Nvidia Control Panel Issues

I've recently been trying to optimize my settings for RIFT using the Nvidia Control Panel to override some of the settings and let the driver handle them instead (reports of much higher FPS, game runs very badly for a lot of people).

I've changed a lot of the settings in the Application Specific settings but nothing is applying when I launch the game, even though others are having no issues. I followed the steps taken Here but still have had no luck.

My graphics card is an EVGA GTX 770 and I am running the latest drivers available. One thing I should add, I have the drivers installed on a different hard drive to the one RIFT is actually installed on but I don't know if this would affect anything majorly.

If anyone has encountered such a problem then please let me know, I've tried everything I can think of!

Cheers

I did use it before wiping my drivers, but the settings are different to the ones in the Control Panel; there seems to be some things missing that I can't change. I'll try posting in the nVidia forums too, I just want to find a reason why nothing is applying.
