I went for single channel RAM so you can add another stick later.
The performance of the processor is much better than the AMD A8 and you can use the same motherboard to upgrade to an (socket 1155) i5 or i7 later on.
The R7 250 will give you better performance than the A8-6600K. Also, I was wondering, would you be able to re-use your old case? If so, you could use the extra money for an R7 250X which performs much better....
