Hey all, I'm getting a new rig (http://www.cclonline.com/product/152773/NoMfgCode/Desktop-PCs/CCL-Elite-Raven-IV-Gaming-PC/CCL-EL-RAV4/), but ive been told that the ram is bad. The website charges £25 if you customise the PC. Should i swap it out for better ram along with the 25£ or will it all be good? If someone could explain, it would be great!

It will do just fine, you won't notice much of a difference. It has higher latency than most 1600Mhz but you probably won't notice it. (CL11)
Get it like that, and if you do need to change it in the future (I don't think you will anyway), just do that yourself, as they'll probably overcharge for it.

What difference will it make if I get better ram? I plan on playing big/open world games like Far Cry, DayZ and PlanetSide 2

Only if you render vids or stuff will higher quality ram improve it, for games, no difference
