Hi everyone, you are pretty much my only hope. I have a problem; my GPU usage is really low in every game, on the contrary my CPU usage is always at the 90%-100%. And this, causes stuttering. I don't know what the problem is, I tried almost everything I could think of. Please help me.

GPU: GTX 780 TI Gigabyte Windforce edition.

CPU: I7-4790k

PSU: Seasonic 650W

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero

I ran 3DMark 11 a couple of times and came with no artifacts at all. It wasn't like that all of the time, I remember that around BF4's latest patch it started lowering down performance.

My case is the Cooler Master Storm Stryker and my cooler is the Noctua NH-D14.

Did you update to the 340.53 drivers? They are really buggy, and that may be causing the performance loss, since it apparently affects BF4 the most. Try going back to the 337.88 drivers.

It started happening with the 337.88 drivers.

I don't have any crashing problems, just an unstable GPU usage rate. I don't think it's a heating problem either, since my GPU overclocks itself in game.

So, I did fix the high CPU usage by messing with the Nvidia control panel for a bit. The problem is that the GPU usage is still low and unstable, resulting in stuttering and a little bit of artifacts in game. Thanks for everybody that suggested a solution.

What about any drivers before that? Like 335 or even 334?

I tried to revert back to my old drivers, didn't work.

How long have you had this card? I would think the gpu is faulty ( I hope not!). I always go with EVGA or PNY for my NIVIDIA gpus. Have you played any other games besides Battlefield? Try other games and see if they stutter.

Most games don't fully utilize my GPU. If I run Furmark for example, my usage goes to 98%-99% usage. I had the card for half a year, it think.

I do not think bottleneck is an issue whatsoever. It seems your cpu is driving your gaming, not your GPU. Furmark and other related programs make it increase the usage. I honestly think you should test it out on other games and see if it stutters still. If your other games do not stutter than Battlefield is the culprit. If they do then I think something else is wrong. It may be a gpu issue.

The stuttering happens in most games, my cpu usage is really low around 30%. My CPU is the I7-4790K, there's no way it's bottlenecking my GPU.

Exactly! I do not see why that is happening. Try re sitting your gpu in your PCI slot. And so the same with your cpu. If you do that and still doesnt work, then the gpu is faulty. There is no other solution to my ability.

Remember this: Buy EVGA cards for NIVDIA, for your next build or whatever you wish to do with this current dilemma.
