MSI Z97M Gaming and SLI ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5. are they compatible?

im planning on building a new rig sponsored by my brother... so just like the title says...
(1) will an MSI motherboard fully support an SLI gtx 780??
(2) and is it a overkill to the monitor ill be using?
(3) is my power supply enough for the gpus ill be using?

2 x Asus GTX 780 DC2 3gb/384bit, OC Ed ddr5
MSI Z97M Gaming
Intel Core i5 4690K
Cooler Master Seidon 240M Hybrid
4 x KINGSTON HYPERX BLU 8GB 1600MHZ
APC Back UPS CI
Viewsonic 24" (VG2439M)
Antec VP550P (550W)

That PSU will certainly NOT be enough. It's the worst quality PSU from Corsair. You'll need a 850W PSU to run them reliably.
And yeah, it's overkill for 1080p gaming. One 780 is more than enough. Depends how long you want your PC to last without upgrading it though. :)

Also, the mobo will work with 2 780's, although the PCI-E slots are very close together so the cards will have to work very hard to keep cool.

is that 850 W PSU a Minumum for the two gpus or a recommended PSU? coz i dont want to go shorting out if its just a minimum psu watts...
im planning on adding another same monitor next year, if possible (lol), and i want this rig to last me about 4 - 5 years atleast.

I recommend EVGA's SuperNOVA 850G2. This is one of the most reliable PSU's out in the market right now.
