I'm putting a computer together (first time) and want to know how my build is so far; also, which power supply/ hard drive would go well with what I have.

Here's what I have:
-Mobo: MSI 970A-G46
-CPU: AMD FX-8320
-VidCrd: NVidia GeForce GT 620 2GB
-RAM: Crucial Ballistix sport (2x4GB)

The case is a CoolerMaster K280. Fans are all stock.

As far as benchmarks go, TitanFall at 40+ fps would be ideal.

psu a 400 watt psu from seasonic the card is very low on power consumption and for the hdd wd black would be good choice In terms of performance/stats there isn't going to be much difference in this case, but if you compare product ranges then the Blue drives will usually have lower caches, lower available capacities etc. This point (1Tb) is just a product range overlap so you get similar stats.
The extra cost is mainly about reliability/longevity. Black drives are going to be bigger/heavier because they are built to higher standards and as such have a 5year limited warranty vs 2years for Blue.
I prefer WD black drives as far as platter type as far as psu's it can be down to you get what you pay for and most times less

Choosing the right PSU is an important decision for the enthusiast because it is the backbone of any system. Buying an inferior, no-frills unit brings with it many consequences – some of which can be catastrophic. I’ve personally read [and have myself ] of many stories of various individuals who have been strapped for cash and gone down this route, these cheaper units can often blow and when they do, they will take everything with it. So you may think spending all of your money on the core components like CPU, GPU, motherboard and then very little on the PSU is a good thing – this may change when it goes up in smoke!

best to do some home work on them like at sites johnny guru- hardware secrets tecpowerup that gives you a disassembly review and will point out sub standard parts in them
