I've looked around and I haven't seen a solid date other than sometime in September for the new cards coming out. Thought I'd ask if anyone sees them coming out early September, or more than likely later on in the month?

Also, as I'm new, what do you think the 880's will go for?

Solution
The Titan really isn't meant as a video card, merely a status symbol. Its 40% more than a 780Ti and doesn't offer close to a 40% performance boost except in things that are heavy with DP calculations. Generally performance/dollar drops off pretty quickly as you get to the upper tier cards because they become premium products. If you want a strong/reasonable cost efficient card you should be looking in the mid level, if you are looking at an 880 or a 780 then cost should be a totally moot point to you.

I googled what you are saying and I don't see a credible source...

Well the 880 surpasses the Ti, while the Ti is currently going for around $600. I figured an 880 would go for 799 - 1000.

What if I go with a Titan, do you think anything released soon would be cheaper/as efficient?

titans are for video editors etc, a 780 ti beats it in gaming by 20-30fps sometimes
