Hello, I bought a Dell Inspiron 15r 5537, it's an Intel core i7 processor, 8 GB ram and it has 2 graphics card as most of laptops, Intel ingreated 4400 and AMD Readon HD 86700 2 GB dedicated graphics card.

My problem is about games and the AMD dedicated graphics card,
anytime I open any game and play it, it be so lagy, fps drops and makes me so bored although that the laptop specs passes the game requirments with levels, Like that there is a game which recommends a core i5 processor, 6 GB ram and 1 GB graphics card, but when I use it it be <mod edit> and lag like hell

Notes : I have installed all the drivers with the last updates.

when I click the right mouse button on the desktop and choose screen resolution then advanced settings it shows me

''Adapter'' ''Intel (R) HD Graphics HD Family''

Chip Type: Intel (R) HD Graphics HD Family
DAC type: Internal
Adapter String: Intel (R) HD Graphics HD 4400
BIOS Information: Intel Video BIOS

Total Available Graphics Memory: 6600 MB
Dedicated Graphics Memory: 2560 MB
System Video Memory: 0 MB
Shared System Memory: 4040 MB

I made everything in ''Graphics Properties (AMD Control Panel)'' at the highest performance and maximized performance at both AC and battery.

I made the game applications at ''High Performance'' at ''Graphics Switchable''

I downloaded a program to give me information about the video card ''tech powerup GPU Z'' and when I open any game and check ''sensors'' I see that the ''dynamic'' graphics card is running normally but the ''dedicated'' one isn't working and using ''0 mb'' of it

I already searched about anything about graphics in BIOS setup but didn't find anything.

I think and sure that the problem is because my AMD graphics card isn't being used or isn't working...

Please help me fast I need a solution, it took me lots of time to collect this laptop money, it's been 2 weeks since I bought it and I already bought it with this high specs for gaming and playing it smoothly. :( :'(

I knew the problem now, the AMD graphics card isn't working. It must work when I choose ''High Perfrormance'' instead of ''Power Saving'' from the switchable graphics card but ''Power Saving'' works better than ''High Performance'' which mean that AMD isn't being used although it must be when I choose ''High Performance''
Anyone have a solution for this??? Please help me FAST!

Are you sure you're plugging in the DVI/DisplayPort/HDMI cable into the graphics card and not the motherboard?

Oh, sorry. Did you try reinstalling the drivers? If that doesn't work, I'd get it checked out by the manufacturer since this isn't supposed to happen.

I really don't know what the problem could be. I guess you could take the laptop up to a Dell store and see if they have anything to say or do about it and if that doesn't work, RMA it. I would suggest calling customer service, but that would make me and the forum pointless now wouldn't it :p.
