Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. First thing I would do is check to see if your system sees that the drive has "unallocated space" or "no media" in Disk Management or Disk Utility. If there is "unallocated space" the file system most likely got corrupted due to the sudden loss of power. In this case you can create a partition and format it to bring the drive back to normal. If it has "no media" then the data chip or the communication pathways between the controller and data chip were damaged in the sudden loss of power which is a hardware issue. For further assistance, please contact our support in your region.

Thank you for selecting Kingston.
