Whenever i try overclocking my amd fx 9370 cpu to 4.8 ghz it crashes. I do not get why I know that my cpu cooler can handle 4.8 ghz but I keep crashing

CPU: AMD FX 9370 4.4 ghz
GPU: ASUS DirectCU 2 OC R9 290
PSU: AZZA Titan 1000 watt PSU
RAM: 8GB
Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 240M

Solution
Just because some other FX9370 can handle 4.8, doesn't mean yours can. Each cpu is unique in its own way.

That being said there could be a lot of other reasons as well. For example Temps, Voltage... ect. But my thoughts that chip is unstable at 4.8
