Recently my computers power supply broke down and I need a new one. I'm not sure if I need a specific one for my pc. My computer sometimes overheats when I use it for a long time to when I play heavy games and I want to know if I can add another fan. Here is the pc that I have http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAG...

Ah the wonderful world of pre-built PCs, they really don't invest much in quality components do they?

Alright, from that page it says it was using a, seemingly, unbranded 350w supply, which seems about right given the specifications of the rest of the machine.
All you will need to do is buy a replacement equal to, or larger than that, which shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Normally I would be saying invest in a quality supply, but for that system - and its demands, as well as its near-soon need of an upgrade, I suggest something basic like the Corsair VS350.

From the looks of it, I don't think your board even requires a CPU power cable, certainly not one for the GPU. To install it, it should just be a case or unplugging the old 24-pin cable and fitting the new one.

Good luck!
