My k5000m 4gb graphics card has been working for a long time, until I updated my OS. Now the clock speed is stuck on idle (135.0 MHz) no matter what I do. its original clock speed is 706 MHz but like I said it will not change, no matter what I do. This has caused a massive drop in FPS in games. I used to be able to play Skyrim and borderlands 2 at 1920 x 1080 on ultra settings, that now I can barely play on low. I have also updated all my drivers to their newest versions.

What Os did you update to? Yeah, 135 Mhz is really low. I had a problem where i updated my Os and my computer was not recognizing my Graphics Card until i realized i needed to update the Display drivers (Device Manager) and i also had to download the latest software from the manufacturers website for the card. Only after i did that did my computer read the card. So try updating those drivers and downloading any other relevant software/drivers from the card manufacturers website, they usually have the downloads according to what Os you have. Hope that helps.
