So, I bought a new laptop but I made my old laptop's hard drive into an external hard drive. I would like to boot from the external hard drive, but in my boot priority list no usb boot option is displayed. My new laptop is an ASUS x75a if that changes anything in the bios. My question is how do I allow my computer to locate my external hard drive so I can boot from the usb?
