I connected my laptop (Win 8.1) to the server at work (Server 2012 Essentials). Now I can't use my computer outside the office without the wireless network showing limited connectivity. I have googled every article I could find about limited connecctivity. I've reset the network adapter, flushed DNS, and reset the router. I have tried to connect to several wireless networks that I use regularly. No dice. The laptop is an ultrabook with no ethernet port, so I can't try a wired connection. Advise?

What exaclty do you mean by "connected to the server"? Did you join the laptop to the domain? Or just connected to a share on the server or what?

Do you have an IT department at work? There may be security policies in place that prevent corporate computers from connecting. Our laptops will not connect to secure wireless networks unless they are properly setup to do so with sertificates, encryption and anti-virus software all working properly. It may be your IT department setup similar restrictions. You should also make sure that you are getting the correct IP addresses from the wifi networks and that your proxy in the web browser is turned off.
