I have this computer that suddenly stopped producing video output. I replaced the PSU and it did not work. I tested the RAM and the CPU in my (working) machine and they worked. This lead me to believe that its the motherboard. I get a new motherboard put it in machine. Still no video output.
Now I'm thinking its the (new) PSU that's the problem so I put my PSU into it. Up until this point it hasn't produced any beep codes whatsoever. Now, with my PSU, the motherboard produces constant beeps.
I look it up and constant beeps is either the RAM, GPU, or motherboard. No GPU, tested RAM, so It must be the motherboard. Since the other PSU failed to make it produce beeps, I assume that the PSU(new) is broken.
So, I order another motherboard and another PSU. I put them in and i get 5 short beeps. I've looked it up and it says its a CPU problem so i clean and reapply thermal paste, however I still get the beeps. When we switched the CPUs (this machine and the other computer) both worked, and did not produce multiple beeps. Both machines use the same processor model.
The original build:
Intel Core i5-3350P 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
MSI B75MA-E33 Micro ATX LGA1155
A-Data Premier Pro SP600 64GB 2.5" SSD
Toshiba 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM

Second motherboard
Gigabyte GA-H61M-S1 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Third (most recent) motherboard:
ASRock B75M R2.0 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

Second (most recent) PSU:
Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Thank you

We have the GPU, we just didn't put it in. You don't need a GPU for the computer to function though. We fixed it though. When we were testing the CPU (switched them) the (previously not functioning computer) computer worked and when I put the other one in mine and mine worked too. We have the same processor and it did not produce beeps.

Switched the CPUs with my computer (same model) and they both work now.
