I can either pick this ips monitor from acer http://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-h6-series-23-ips-led-hd-monitor/4751006.p?id=1219103673253&skuId=4751006&st=monitor&cp=1&lp=4

or this tn monitor from asus http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-23-6-led-hd-monitor/8767187.p?id=1218890757510&skuId=8767187

I hear ips is better looking in general, but I've also heard good tn panels work better than some cheap ips ones. So which is my best option?
i will be using this mainly for gaming. Any help would be awesome and if you find anything else from either bestbuy, amazon, or newegg that would great

I actually own the Asus monitor you posted and love it. It did arrive with 3 dead pixels, but didn't buy mine from bestbuy. I will be honest and say the colors are little washed out, so if you watch a lot of movies, I will guarantee that the Acer IPS screen will be more suitable and provide more vivid colors. I always preferred TN screens for gaming though just because of the lower response times which will result in less motion blur/ghosting. If you care about color more than motion blur though, the Acer will be better for you. Hope this helps. :)
