Should I put more money in to my CPU or graphics card?

Hey everyone, I'm building a new system in November (2014) which I'll be using for gaming and video editing. I'm going to be running dual monitors but only gaming on one at 1080p. My question is should I put more money in to my CPU or graphics card. On my budget I can either get an i7 4970k paired with a gtx 770 with a 2gb frame buffer or I could downgrade the processor to an i5 4670k and pair it with a gtx 780 with a 3gb frame buffer. Which should I go with? Are games over the next few years going to need more than 2 gbs of frame buffer or is my money better spent on the better CPU for better video editing performance. I'll be overclocking everything on an msi z97 mobo and I'm running 16gb of 1600 mghz system memory. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!
