Corsair Vengeance pro "1600" running 1333.

im having trouble running my memory at 1600 , the XMP wont work either. it wont boot after i put the XMP, plz help me.

my parts are:
i7 4790k
Hyper 212 evo
Asus z97 A
Corsair Vengeance pro 1600 (CMY8GX3M2A1600C9)
asus r9 290x
Corsair rm 650wat

Do you have latest BIOS? Are the sticks in slots 1-3? If so may try in 2-4 or if in 2-4 try in 1-3 (from CPU). If that doesn't work try each stick individually, may have a bad stick or a problem with the mobo or CPU

yea i have the latest BIOS , and i try each stick individually already when i did that it let me run it at 1600, bt when i try 2 it would not boot again. you think it could be the power supply, too low?

Shouldn't be but might - try the sticks in slots 1-2 from CPU and see what happens, would be single channel if they work there and see if both will work that way

yea same ,still running at 1333, bt wtf now my average fps on unigine valley went from 62 to 30 now.

talk with asus , they told me my power supply is too low, so ima switch it , ill post one wat happens.
