after installing ssd my screen freezes and after ctr+alt+cancel I get BSOD

i installed a ssd 120 gb on desktop pc, after installing windows 7 64bit the ssd worked fine but my original hard disk couldn't be seen, so I uninstalled it. After installing MS updates 135 of them, my screen freezes when I login, after ctr+alt+cancel I get BSOD. the pc works fine in safe mode, I think it must be some driver. I am also unable to start ACHI . what can I do, format my ssd and reinstall windows 7?
I did a driver backup before inserting the ssd on an external hard disk, but can't remember what program I used, I formatted my original C: drive and put windows 7 64 bit on it. I don't know how to reinstall my drivers.
any ideas. thank you in advance

Please go to the manufacturer's website for your SSD and verify that you are on the most current firmware. If you happen to have purchased an SSD that has been sitting on a store shelf or in a warehouse for a while, it could very easily have old firmware installed to it. It has been the case that many SSDs were causing problems such as BSOD occurrences and freezing until a simple firmware update, and then they worked fine.

AHCI should have been enabled in your motherboard's BIOS before the installation of Windows 7 to the SSD was started. If it was not, it is likely the AHCI drivers are not enabled in Windows and will cause a BSOD to occur during the boot process into Windows. There is a Microsoft Fix-it...

Thanks for your very quick reply.I tried to download the drivers installer from HP because I have a ECS MCP61PM HM (Nettles GL8E) but I can't install them because I'm in safe mode. I can't get my desktop to work in normal mode, because my screen freezes. Have you any ideas on how to overcome this problem. What if I format my SSD and reinstall windows 7, or revert to 3 days ago cancelling all my updates?
