So I am moving into a new apartment soon and bringing my gaming rig, previously I had it plugged into an ethernet port via a cable but at my new place I won't have access to an ethernet port and i need an alternative solution to just connect to the apartment provided wifi. I was looking into a few PCI cards and some USB ones but I am really unsure what I would need and how to know which is better. When I did some research a lot of people said one or the other is better but I got nothing conclusive from that.
I have no idea what the type of router the apartment uses and I am looking for something that is $50 or under, although i will pay more if i need to.
Hopefully someone can help me out with this and recommend me something that can suit my needs. Thanks!!

Get a wireless card. If your motherboard has a PCI-Express slot available, then get this card:http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WDN4800-Wireless-Express-Low-profile/dp/B007GMPZ0A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408058268&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless+card

A wireless card will help save a USB port on your rig and this card is great. (I have one)
