The on board sound on my computer has started to not work properly (sound is fuzzy and mics dont work). I am looking for a good sound card for less than or about $50. I have that one. Good card. Asus's software isn't so great and the EQ is crap. I bought it cause there's sometimes my on board would kinda crash and I would get bad sounds and would have to restart my computer. But that still happens if a game crashes and the audio will be stuck in a loop. I would see if there's a update maybe 1st and see if there's no way of finding the problem before buying a sound card. Sound cards now these days are almost useless as the onboard one are so much better and there part of the mobo.
