I just got a new TV and connected it to my computer just like my old TV. The graphics are crappy when streaming movies from Amazon. Their tech support said to change the graphics card setting but would not tell me how. I don't know anything about graphics cards. What can I do?

If its just crappy when streaming from amazon, odds are you just aren't getting the HD feed from them. Confirm with other sources before you go spending money on things that won't solve the issue. Your GPU is NOT going to be the source of poor video resolution, that is determined by the video stream not by your computer.

If you right click on the desktop, and choose "Screen Resolution" - what is displayed? True HD is 1920 X 1080.
