As shocking as this might sound , it got me up on my feet too.
Now seriously, of what little knowledge i have, i'm fully dependent on benchmarks, at least with my preferred CPU.
I've been looking towards the FX 8350 - R9 combo, and this has turned out very awkward.
Based on the benchmarks I have seen (Youtube, yes not totally trustable, but i saw a good few to make a good judgement) here are some maxed out benchmarks :
FX 8350 + R9 290X - BF HARDLINE = 32 -40 fps...
FX 8350 + GTX 760 -BF HARDLINE = 50 - 65 fps...
FX 8350 + R9 290 - BF HARDLINE = 85 - 100 fps (f#ck logic)
Watch Dogs : R9 290X - 20 - 29 fps
GTX 760 - 32 - 40 FPS
R9 290 45 - 60 FPS (Once again f#ck logic)
Now what the hell is going on here? Please tell me it isnt the CPU... it can't be.
If you have any experience with R9 cards please help out.
