Ok, for a while now my CPU has been overheating to up to 108c (When gaming) and idle won't go below 50c.

I thought this wasn't a big issue to fix, so I looked up how and I have done everything that doesn't involve buying new fans or thermal paste (Which I am doing soon anyway)

Someone please help. I'v cleaned out the case, moved my PC to a more open space, and from what I can tell my heatsink looks ok .

My case is a Cooler Master HAF 912

Sorry but it is impossible your CPU got to 108C without shutting down the computer before failling. it is an error from your monitoring software being unable to read temperature properly.

Max operating temperature of your CPU is 74C

approach the cooler with your hand while playing. if you CPU is at 108C, the cooler should be around 90C. Max temperature Human body can endure without burning itself is 60C. You'll have an idea.

Really yes ! nothing can withstand 108C without melting. You computer would be dead long ago. find a software reading you motherboard socket temperature. This would be the most accurate reading you can get since it is provided by the motherboard sensor.
