I have an Intel i5-4690, Gigabyte H97-Gaming 3 motherboard, 2x4 gb G.Skill Sniper ram, one 2.5 40GB HDD just for music and such, a WD Black 1TB HDD, a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD, and MSI R9-280 with Windows 8. I want to use my SSD to download my OS on so wouldn't it be much easier to just plug my HDD's in after i am done with my PC build? Also i just want my OS to save to my SSD and Skyrim and everything else to save to my HDD, how do i set it to where only my OS and Skyrim game will be on my SSD and nothing else?

When you install windows it will give you the option of what drive you want to use select the ssd and windows will install on the ssd, then install skyrim in the normal place eg c drive and make sure you format the 1tb drive so it works on windows and install games on that. Also when you install games make sure you select your 1tb drive from the list of places to install your game, otherwise your games will install to the ssd.
