Today I clean installed windows 7 onto SSD. MoBo : ASUS p7p55d-e pro
I believe I went to bios before installing and set Storage Settings - SATA from IDE to AHCI.
Windows 7 installed without any problems.
I then install Samsung Magician and it says AHCI mode is deactivated.
Also, it says unable to detect sata interface details.
I tried following several guides such as http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 but to no avail.
How do I enable AHCI so I can optimize performance?
