Seagate IDE slave not showing in my computer/disk management only device manager XP

asap help plz i did a fresh install of windows xp coz I got a new 80 gig SATA hdd then I set my Seagate 200gb IDE as slave but it dont want to show in my computer nor disk management only iin device manager plz help all my stuff is on there...much appreciated.

If there is only one IDE drive connected to the IDE ribbon cable, you don't configure it as "Slave". Set the jumper to "Master" (or "Single Drive" on some brands of hard drive).
