Okay, so i placed my GCard into the tower, and it worked fine, couldnt figure out how to install it, so i opened it back up, and realized i forgot to put the pins in.

My GCard has 2 slots, 1 is a 6 Pin slot, and 1 is an 8 Pin slot, i plugged them both in and connected to the Power Supply, except after doing that, my Computer wouldnt send any signal to the monitor, so i unplugged the Pins and sure enough, it worked, then i tried just plugging in the 6 Pin, and it still worked, then i tried plugging in the 8 Pin, and it gave No Signal to the Monitor, how would i fix this?

P.S. the 8 Pin i have is weird, it looks like this http://i.imgur.com/yvU1u00.png sorry for the bad illustration, but hopefully you'll get the idea.

anyways, any help?

If you have not already check to make 100% sure that the power supply has a high enough wattage for the graphics card.

Try whether you still get a signal from the integrated graphics chipset and see whether the computer detects another display adapter from device manager (assuming you use Windows) however it is likely that that with the graphics card it your motherboard automatically disables it.

Once you have exhausted all of the intelligent options try turning the PC and monitor on in sync with each other (a little quirk that has worked for me on numerous occasions).

I hope this helps a bit!
