Hi,

I have thermaltake v3 black 600w and i am going to upgrade my gpu.

Msi b-85 g-43
I7 4770
Gtx 780
2 hdd 1 ssd 1 dvdrom

This is what written on psu

I know there are too many questions about gtx780 and 600w, but i am asking for my psu. ( because in some of threads they say 600w is enough but you need a good quality psu. So is my psu one of them?)

Solution
you dont have to gtx 770 and 780 requires same power so if the psu was good with previous card then it should be good with gtx 780..

Well from what I can find the 780 recommends 42 amps on the 12v rail, which your PSU isn't going to be able to supply, however that doesn't mean that it actually needs 42 amps as they will always put out a higher number than what is needed in real world situations to make sure there is enough power regardless.

In any case it's not a great quality PSU and loading it up may not be a good idea. If you can afford it, getting something like this isn't a bad idea. The Capstone is made by Super Flower, a very good PSU manufacturer.
